About Me

I am a 35-year-old originally from Nebraska now living in Los Angeles. My story is not your typical girl from the Midwest and my mission is that my story can bring a powerful impact to others struggling and seeking a way out. I strive to shed light on the harsh realities of addiction and the transformation recovery can bring. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, and I am currently pursuing my Masters in New Media Journalism. For the past 8 years, I have been working in the treatment industry, and I myself am in recovery. I currently serve as the Director of Admissions at New Spirit Recovery, and I am a member of the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP). Additionally, I hold a RADT Certification.
